I went for an early evening ride on my Suzuki SV650S, it was chilly but it didn't matter.

Four boxes, ninety-six cans, two hundred and eighty-eight tennis balls. Can it get any better? 492.25 well spent.

Another gorgeous parting of the clouds prior to sunset. I imagine that we get such gorgeous skies, clouds and light here on the west coast, due to the onshore winds that bring fresh air and clouds formed over the Pacific Ocean. Perhaps there is less pollution and the air is more clear, resulting in this natural splendor.

There wasn't a glorious sunset tonight, but there was a late afternoon parting of clouds that created some extrordinary light.

Look for the light, shadow, texture, colour, tone, extraordinary, uniqueness, shape, abstract, meaningful and create a composition. Then make an image you want to share with others, because you recorded something special.

I recently bought two new Fujifilm X20 cameras, mainly for their portable size and film quality output. I have set one to permanent black and white and the other to various colour modes. The images made by these little point and shoot cameras is outstanding. They struggle in some functions, but the film quality result is worth the work. I love this camera model, and the X30 is even better, but I needed two so got the X20. They fit in my pocket, hang without any weight around my neck, and shoot FILM QUALITY, I'LL SAY IT AGAIN FILM QUALITY. Fujifilm has certianly been able to migrate their film attributes to their digital cameras. The only thing I am adjusting in post production is contrast. But at this time of year I am shooting landscapes in low flat light, so would do this with any camera image. Fujifilm X20
